i dont know what to do for the background!
generally i dont really bother with backgrounds for my works, but i think this needs something a bit more interesting than just a plain single-tone colouring.
please give me some ideas for this, it would really be appreciated!

Absolutely amazing picture, the colouring is fantastic, the imagery is pleasing and the shading is very well done.
For the background...hmm...I liked the cracked concrete Idea
but you could mix that with the abstract spirals and miscellanious swirls. Black cracks, purple swirls, and a light blue in between it all. I think that might look nice.
